Thanks much to each of you that was able to attend the BOCC Committee Meeting today. We made it over the hurdle today, but we face one last hurdle this Thursday morning at 9:00. Commissioner Lynchard was pleased with our turnout. We had people representing many of the HOAs and businesses on the Peninsula we call home.
Three Commissioners (Lynchard, Cole, and Salter) verbally supported our efforts, one didn’t say anything although he has committed to me he will support our effort, and Commissioner Goodin brought up continuing opposition from a vocal two in Navarre concerned over the LDC aspect that we dropped two months ago.
Seriously, I know it is a lot of your valuable time to ask of you again, but please try your best to be there Thursday, one last time just in case opposition does show up. We need this proclamation if we are to make a difference along HWY 98 and CR 399. Joe, I hope you and Dave will speak on behalf of the long term interest UPHA and now UPA has had for Fairpoint Peninsula and the value that this effort will hold long term for this area and SRC.
Please let me know if you will be able to join us on Thursday.
Kindest regards,
Donald E. Richards
